Sectional door repairs
- Panel replacement – a dented bottom panel can often be swapped instead of replacing the door.
- Rollers and hinges – worn nylon rollers and cracked hinges are the usual cause of noise.
- Tracks – realigned or replaced after impact damage.
- Springs and cables – torsion springs matched to your door's weight.
- Seals – bottom and perimeter seals to keep out rain, dust and geckos.
Choosing a new sectional door
Panel styles range from classic ribbed to flat, slatted and timber-look. Insulated panels make a noticeable difference if the garage faces west or doubles as a gym or workshop. Near the beach or canals, choose a finish and fittings rated for coastal conditions. We'll bring samples and talk you through which panel profiles suit the house.
Headroom matters
A sectional door needs room above the opening for the track to curve back. Most garages have enough, but low-headroom track kits are available when they don't. We measure this on the first visit, so there are no surprises on installation day.
Where we work

Sectional Doors: common questions
Can you replace just one panel of a sectional door?
Often, yes, if the panel profile and colour are still available. We'll check the door's make and model and confirm on site.
Are insulated sectional doors worth it?
For west-facing garages, or garages used as a gym, office or workshop, insulated panels keep the space noticeably cooler.
How much headroom does a sectional door need?
It depends on the door and track type. We measure on site, and low-headroom kits are available for tight garages.
