What are your hours?
We take calls and attend jobs from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week, across the Gold Coast.
Which suburbs do you cover?
The whole Gold Coast, from Pimpama and Coomera in the north to Palm Beach in the south, and out to Nerang and Mudgeeraba. Our workshop is in Parkwood, so the central and northern suburbs are especially quick to reach.
How much does a garage door repair cost?
It depends on the fault and the parts. We diagnose the problem on site and give you a fixed price before starting. You won't get a surprise on the invoice.
Do you service all brands?
Yes. We work on all major brands of sectional, roller and tilt doors and openers, including B&D, Gliderol, Steel-Line, Merlin, ATA, Centurion and Grifco.
My garage door spring has broken. Can I still open the door?
Please don't try. Without the spring the door is extremely heavy and can drop. Keep it still, keep clear, and call us.
Why does my door stop and go back up?
Usually the safety beams are dirty, knocked out of line or blocked, or the motor's force setting needs adjusting. Wipe the beam lenses and check nothing is in the way. If it keeps happening, call us.
How do I open my garage door in a power cut?
Pull the manual release cord (usually a red handle) to disconnect the door from the motor, then lift it by hand. Re-engage it when the power returns. We'll show you how at every visit.
Does salt air really affect garage doors?
Yes. Salt speeds up rust on springs, fasteners and bottom rails. If you live near the beach, the Broadwater or a canal, rinse the door regularly and have it serviced every six months.
Do you supply wind-rated garage doors?
Yes. Every home has a design wind class, and your garage door should match it. We check this before quoting any new door.
Do you remove the old door when installing a new one?
Yes, removal and disposal are included in every installation quote.
